Orthodontic patients require specialized care. Patients who have dental and facial irregularities should be cared for by an Orthodontist. Our specific qualifications in the design, application and control of corrective appliances will bring teeth, lips and jaws into proper alignment for optimal facial balance.
Matthew Bruno, DDS, MS
Dr. Matthew Bruno has been helping children achieve beautiful smiles for over a decade. After graduating from UCLA with his degree in dentistry, he received his certificate in Orthodontics and Master’s Degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He has been specializing in orthodontic care for children in the Thousand Oaks area and is joining us to continue our long tradition of providing kids, teens and adults with quality orthodontics in our spaceship office. Dr. Bruno has two sons of his own and when he’s not here helping children with their beautiful smiles, he’s working out at the gym or at the beach, enjoying the surf with his sons.
Vivian Maung, DDS, MS
Dr. Maung completed her four year dental training and three year orthodontic residency at the University of Southern California where she received the highest distinction in basic science for her excellence in biology. She also earned her Masters in Craniofacial Biology and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Maung is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. She serves as the Director of Orthodontics for a national children’s non-profit organization where she also teaches USC and UCLA dental students and orthodontic residents.
In her leisure time, Dr. Maung enjoys yoga, cooking and traveling. She also loves listening to music and has a great appreciation for art and architecture.
